At Taking Pictures our short breaks, day courses and tuition all offer the photographer an opportunity to learn new skills and get the most from their camera. Our tuition is lead by a team of dedicated tutors with not only professional photography backgrounds but also a comprehensive background as educators, so you can be sure that when you need advise and guidance it not only come from people who know the answers but will also be able explain to you in a way that you will understand.
Our courses different in several ways to other photographic courses,
1. Before all our courses learners are encouraged to partake in our online forums to discuss what they want to get from the course and interact with other members of the course. This enables us to fine tune courses to the needs of it participants.
2. We offer a whole range of free after course support including online help and advise, downloadable work sheets and our Gallery and online critiques which are run after each course. All this means the learning experience continues beyond the duration of the course.
3.We encourage beginners and users of simple/compact cameras, believing that learning to take better photographs is not just for those who have expensive cameras but should be for everyone.
