I began my career working in a Fleet Street Press agency before returning to Art College to complete a 3 year diploma course in Advertising & Fashion Photography at the Medway College of Art. After assisting London photographers for two years I worked, for many years, in London and later in Bristol mainly in the advertising and catalogue industry.

Now based in the West of England I work primarily in London and Southern England but do travel throughout the rest of the UK and Europe.

Photographic assignments undertaken include studio & location advertising, public relations, corporate editorial, industrial, construction & commercial and with present and past clients including many blue-chip companies such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Bath Rugby, Netherlands Board of Tourism and Girls Active.

All equipment I use  is of the highest professional standard. Studio lighting & backgrounds are available for location shoots. Broadcast quality video equipment is also available together with lighting for all types of corporate filming.

I don't believe photography should cost a fortune so jobs are priced at reasonable rates with post production  at minimal or no extra cost, using skills acquired since the infancy of digital imaging over 12 years ago. Using skills obtained whilst working with major catalogues such as Argos and Freemans I also offer leaflet, brochure, flyer design and print to my many clients.

My aim is to execute assignments quickly and efficiently without cutting corners and not having the costs of expensive London studios, enables Taking Pictures to offer London standards at provincial prices.
