Key to the day’s activity is the 3hr exclusive use of one of the famous striped 4x4 land rovers in which we can explore the wilds of the world famous safari park. These vehicles allow us to get closer to the animals and by travelling off-road, we can be sure of getting some unique shots. Our exclusive use of the vehicle ensures that the tour is tailored to the needs of the photographer.
A wealth of background information from the host warden provides an insight to the animals themselves whilst your accompanying instructor is on hand to provide photographic advice and tuition. The remainder of the day will be a tutor led session spent taking advantage of the many photo opportunities presented around Longleat itself.
The day ends with a debriefing critique session taken over cream scones and a pot of tea. Afternoon tea is included within the tuition fee. Lunch and any other refreshments are not included within the tuition fee. Included within the price of this tour is a Passport Ticket that grants once only entry into all Longleat attractions. Maximum instructor to student ratio 5 to 1.
All participants will be invited to join the internet based critique and review session which will be scheduled to take place approximately two weeks after this course takes place. Longleat Safari park is an outstanding day out in it’s own right. As such, partners not participating in the photography are welcome to join us for a reduced fee of £100.
